MS&WOOD, Bosnian manufacturer of high end solid wood furniture, presented their "Primum" Collection and "Elle" Collection at the international exhibition "Design Shanghai" held from 8 to 11 March 2017. MS&WOOD exhibited in "Contemporary Design" Hall presenting the best examples of contemporary and innovative design of today.

Design Shanghai is the most visited international exhibition in Asia, but also the fourth most visited event of this type in the world.

MS&WOOD introduced award-winning furniture collections manufactured in Fojnica, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Fojnica's woodmasters skillfully turned MS&WOOD's "Primum" Collection, developed by Bosnian designer Ado Avdagic, and its latest "Elle" Collection, crafted by Bosnian designer Natasa Perkovic, into top performance solid wood furniture.

The organiser ackowledged BH design by inviting a BH designer and senior assistant at the Department of product design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, Natasa Perkovic, to deliver a lecture at the DS Design Forum. The topic was "Global design - how to achieve the humanity and authenticity in the production process that is increasingly becoming dependent on machines." Perkovic lectured on "Elle Collection: Beauty + Quality = Sustainability."

In the four-day framework, the Forum was attended by thirty leading designers, together with the icons of world design scene such as Dakota Jackson, Karim Rashid and Jamy Yang as well as the most talented young designers of today such as Paul Cocksedge, Benjamin Hubert, Bethan Laura Wood and Joyce Wang.

Because of its uniqueness, the exhibition "Design Shanghai" has not been set up in a typical venue, but in a very picturesque area of the former palace that has been converted into "Shanghai Exhibition Center". The exhibition itself is of a highly selective type and thus far such exclusive internrnational brands as Zaha Hadid Design, Moroso, Porada, Alessi, Magis, Swarovski presented their collections to the refined international audience.
